For years I have had trouble choosing the right products for my hair. You could not give me advice on what to use because…well, let’s face it; we all have different textures and want to achieve a variety of looks. When I started to take on doing my own hair I was introduced to neutrogena Triple Shine, and later moved on to and fell in love with a variety of Pantene Lines for curly hair. Still I struggled with styling when I let it down and had to strictly follow a recipe and technique paired with certain products like mousse and liquid gels to hold my curls for the whole day. When I was younger and dead set on a certain look my hair would be crunchier than non-cooked ramen noodles! At the moment I didn’t care because it was cute and I didn’t have the time to care about something like what I was putting into my hair. As long as it looked good, I was happy. Fast forward to now and all I can think about is how to make this curly haired life easier. It took a while, but I have found my saving grace!
I have started using a variety of their products but by far I am in love with their coconut and hibiscus, curl and shine line. As you are well aware, the process of achieving bouncy, tight, and frizz-less curls is difficult, but with a little bit of training and with Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl and Shine Kit, I think you and I are a step closer to the effortlessly sexy curls seen in the magazines and on NY runways. This is a good kit to start with because it has smaller sizes of the pricier products and you will get to use the entire line at the same time. With the Curl Enhancing Smoothie and the Curl & Style Milk, I haven't had to use any gel products other than to gel my edges down. This a huge is a win for me.
By now if you have taken a look at some of their products you are catching on to the fact that theses products are on the higher end of the spectrum when it comes to price. That’s OK! Shea Moisture is made with natural and certified organic ingredients. Theses people practically wrote the book on the idea of “Put good in, Get good out” and I’m on board. Shea Moisture can be found in your normal beauty supply locations like their website SheaMoisture.com, Sally’s, Ulta, CVS, Target, and many more. If you try to buy these products online they have an option for a subscription base service, I would shy away from this until you know exactly what products work for you and your hair on a long-term basis. I hope your curls will be as happy as mine have been with my new favorite hair products!
