As soon as the season changes we all start to whip out the scissors looking to reinvent some of our usual clothing into everyday summer gems. Since I have a knack for tearing shit up, do it yourself is a no-brainer. Over the years I have made good use to a lot of the tutorials that can be easily found on Pinterest. Some of my favorites are of course the ripped jean shorts, the off the shoulder tee and dip dye techniques. Recently, Mel and I have been dabbling in other techniques so I wanted to collect some of my favorite DIY finds. Naturally, I don’t like to take the DIY clothing thing too far but it is true that with a little creativity you can make a lot of the clothing and accessories that you will spend an arm and a leg on in retail stores. So if you’re looking for a project, or just dying to make your wardrobe a lot more summer friendly, don’t be afraid to do it your damn self. Some much-needed help is below!
